Windows Vista bugs
Some of the Windows Vista bugs:1) Windows Vista introduces a new GUI for Windows management. Instead of (or additionally to) standard dialog boxes there is also a bunch of Explorer style windows. Unfortunately some of the links in these new windows are not working.
Example:
Right click on "Computer" and choose "Properties" from the context menu. In the left pane you'll see four "Tasks" links. Unfortunatly the first link "Device Manager" is not working.
2) If you have broadband dial-up connection to the Internet and create a link to it on the Desktop (right Click on "Network" and select "Manage Network Connections" from the left pane, then drag & drop a broadband connection to the Desktop). Everything Will be fine unless you rename that coonection on the Desktop (for example by removing the " - Shortcut" suffix). After you do it the icon for this connection on the Desktop may be lost (but it won't happen immediately! - wait some time, make some connections and then reboot the computer).
3) Regedit, the new treeview control and the "Search" feature. I think this one is my favorite, although I am not certain if it's really a bug or a "feature". Just run regedit.exe, press F3 to start Search and start searching for something which is not key (value or data). After a search is complete look at the left pane and try to figure out which key we are in...
You can see pictures demonstrating this in the Windows Xp vs Windows Vista page.
