Live Advert Remover
Live Advert Remover (Live Messenger Advert Remover formerly known as MSN Advert Removal) blocks all advertisement banners from being displayed in Live Messenger. It works with all versions of Live and MSN Messengers. You need to run it only once to "patch" your system.
The Story: First time I've installed MSN Messenger and saw that ad banner I've said to myself: "I'll get rid of that banner or I will uninstall this program". After little research in Internet I've found that there are some easy ways to forbid MSN Messenger to download advertisement. However many persons I know when I tried to explain them how to do it (disable advertisement) manually, they were unable to follow my instructions, because they didn't have enough knowledge about computers and instructions like, for example: "go to certain directory, find and edit file, change it's attributes" were to sophisticated for them. Especially when given directory/file had system and/or hidden attributes set. So, I've decided to write a simple program that will do all the stuff for them.
Note: Live Advert Remover will not make the default Live Messenger banner dissapear. This banner will remain intact, but simply it will never be replaced by any commercial advertisement. Also this program does not remove any advertisement provided with Messenger Plus! extention. If you don't want advetisement that comes with Messenger Plus! simply don't install that extension.
